We will inspire staff and students to engage in co-creation and co-production of research and practice as a key part of their educational interaction and they will be supported to share their work both internally through the Fusion events, and externally at conferences, network and public engagement events.
BU’s research in societally relevant themes will increasingly allow for academic collaboration within the BU academic community and with other institutions, both domestic and overseas. BU will actively support the development of novel inter-disciplinary ideas through internal events for sharing academic expertise.
Both UG and PG students will be engaged in the creation of knowledge during their programme of study.
By 2013 opportunities for PG students to engage in co-creation of knowledge and co-authoring of publications will be available in all programmes.
By 2015 opportunities for UG students to engage in co-creation of knowledge, and where possible co-authoring of publications, will be available in all programmes.
